Academic Regulations and Requirements for the Bachelor of Industrial Design
Year Status and General Prerequisites
In the Bachelor of Industrial Design degree program, year status is defined as follows:
1st year: Admission to the program.
2nd year: Successful completion of IDES 1001 Industrial Design Analysis, IDES 1301 Projects IB and must not be deficient in any more than one of the other first year courses.
3rd year: Successful completion of of IDES 2203 Form and Colour Fundamentals, IDES 2302 Projects IIB and all first and second year course requirements.
4th year: Successful completion of IDES 3301 and all third year course requirements.
