This schedule contains the dates prescribed by the University Senate for academic activities. Dates relating to fee payment, cancellation of course selections, late charges, and other fees or charges will be published in the Important Dates and Deadlines section of the Registration Website (carleton.ca/registration).

The academic year is divided into three terms:
Summer term: May - August
Fall term: September - December
Winter term: January - April

Courses are offered in the following patterns:
Early summer: May - June
Late summer: July - August
Full summer: May - August

Fall term: September - December
Winter term: January - April
Fall/winter: September - April

Courses are offered during the day and in the evening.

May 24, 2019	Last day to withdraw from early summer and full summer courses with a full fee adjustment. Withdrawals after this date will result in a permanent notation of WDN on the official transcript.
May 31, 2019	Last day to request Formal Examination Accommodation Forms for June examinations to the Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities. Note that it may not be possible to fulfil accommodation requests received after the specified deadlines.
