This schedule contains the dates prescribed by the University Senate for academic activities. Dates relating to fee payment, cancellation of course selections, late charges, and other fees or charges will be published in the Important Dates and Deadlines section of the Registration Website (carleton.ca/registration).

Note: from Fall 2022 onwards, the deadline to academically withdraw from a course will be earlier in the term, and the deadline will be a static date. Please carefully review the new deadlines for each part of term - early, late, and full; summer, fall, and winter. The relevant entries have been bolded in the tables below.

The academic year is divided into three terms:
Summer term: May - August
Fall term: September - December
Winter term: January - April

Courses are offered in the following patterns:
