Flip-flops, latches, sequential circuits, state graphs and state minimization. Counters and controllers. Hazards. Asynchronous sequential circuits, race free assignment, realization.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 1004 or PHYS 1002 and second-year status in Engineering.
