HISTÂ 5700 [0.5 credit] Introduction to Public History
Introduction to the professional and academic dimensions of public history with a focus on theory, method, ethics, modes of storytelling, and the politics of the past. The course also serves as a foundation for the M.A. in Public History programs.

Full-time students in the thesis pathway are expected to finish all requirements for the degree except HISTÂ 5909 during their first two terms of study. The thesis requirement is designed to take an additional two or three terms.
