MATH 1119 [0.5 credit] Linear Algebra: with Applications to Business
Introduction to systems of linear equations, geometric interpretation in two and three dimensions, introduction to matrices, vector addition and scalar multiplication, linear dependence, matrix operations, rank, inversion, invertible matrix theorem, determinants. Use of illustrative examples related to business.
Precludes additional credit for , but is not an acceptable substitute for: BIT 1001, BIT 1101, BIT 1201, MATH 1102 (no longer offered), MATH 1104, MATH 1107. BUSI 1704 (no longer offered), MATH 1109 (no longer offered), MATH 1401/ECON 1401, MATH 1402/ECON 1402, MATH 1152.
